Would you look at that, a new blog

Since I've reached the end of my Japan adventure, but enjoy blogging, I've decided to migrate over to a new blog and keep an account of my domestic activities, as well. I could have kept going in the old one, but I decided to just start fresh because I know my family will want to be able to easily get back to my Japan entries and this will keep it all nice and separate.

In this blog, I'll be chronicling my varied and sundry adventures, including but not limited to: university happenings, social commentary, introspection and random observations. Also my progress in being a drag king. Come on, admit it, as far as hobbies go, it doesn't get much more awesome than that.

I'm also considering making a [very] casual media blog, to review and recommend books and music I think people should check out. Only the most awesome stuff, of course, but it would be so much easier than trying to remember to tell people about it when I happen to catch them.

As for the blog title? It's not particularly original or clever, I just like the quote. Consider it encouragement to go watch Casablanca, if you've never seen it. Or to watch it again, if you have.
